The 2024 International Automotive New Materials Conference, jointly organized by the Chinese Society of Automotive Engineers, the Automotive Lightweight Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, the People's Government of Wuhu City, and Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., will be held from May 30th to 31st, 2024. This conference lasted for two days, with a main venue, an academician forum, and nine sub venues for new materials majors. More than 90 professional technical reports were shared, and exhibition activities were organized at the same time. During the conference, 14 academicians and experts, including Li Yadong, academician of the CAS Member, Jian Xigao, academician of the CAE Member, and Zhang Jiujun, foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, made relevant reports on the theme of the development status and future trends of new materials for energy conservation and new energy vehicles, interpreting major industrial policies for new materials at home and abroad, sharing the latest cutting-edge technology trends of new materials, and the innovative model of in-depth integration of "government, industry, university, research, and use" and the experience in building innovative systems for new business types.

Based on years of research and innovation by Changneng Technology, the coating of the Endurance Defender not only meets the technical requirements of flame retardancy, aging resistance, and stone impact resistance for power batteries. Through Sherpa system simulation, if a 10mm thick endurance guard coating is used, in parking scenarios, the battery temperature can be maintained at optimal conditions (>10 ℃) throughout the night (8 hours); In driving scenarios, under WLTC test cycle/-28 ℃ conditions, using a 10mm endurance guard layer, the endurance mileage gain reaches 22.5% (73km); The error between the later measured results and the simulation results in various scenarios is only about 1.15%. The coating of the endurance guard can significantly improve the low-temperature degradation problem of power batteries under cold winter conditions.
